Two hotels in Nanakramguda and Gachibowli, minutes from the US Consulate, ISB and the tech campuses. Bangalore and Goa follow in 2027.
The boutique hotel for people who come to Hyderabad to work.
The idea
Boutique is a word people use loosely. Here is what it means to us.
A Trunk & Trolley has fewer than seventy rooms, so the front desk knows who is in them. Each hotel is designed once, for its street, not stamped from a template. And the things a business traveller needs at 11pm, a proper meal, a quiet desk and a bed that gets them to an 8am meeting rested, are the things we spend the most on.
Nanakramguda opened first, in 2014, behind Tabula Rasa. Gachibowli followed with a rooftop pool and the duplex suites that have since become the most requested rooms in the group. Guests describe the hotels as open, green and full of light. We take that as the brief for every one that follows.
